This range of wines is named after the four magnificent Karri trees, which are nearly 75 meters tall and over 400 years old and are located down the road from our winery in Manjimup. The Karri tree is one of the largest living things on our planet. One tree can weigh over 200 tonnes, grow to 90m in height, take nine people holding hands to span its girth, and do it all in 400 years. Nestled amongst the tranquil tall timbers the Peos vineyard's gravelly soil is ideally suited to crafting premium wines, and with the Peos family having tilled those soils for over half a century we believe this is a fitting moniker for flagship range.
Intense flavours of blackcurrant and plums followed by layers of sweet spice and dark chocolate.
Elegant but powerful with a seamless tannin structure and a long finish.
Lifted aromas of pear with hints of vanillin. Flavours of lemon sorbet with subtle notes of nuts and brioche. Beautifully balanced with its natural acidity on a slaty finish.
Displaying a lifted nose of cedary oak and sweet spice aromas with dark fruit undertones. This wine is a well-structured medium bodied wine, showing a round and voluptuous palate of bramble fruit and spice, well integrated with fine scattered tannins that leads to a long full finish.
